This program explains the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of fundamental electronic/electric circuits and electro-mechanical systems commonly used in a wide variety of machines permeating multiple sectors of the economy.
Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technicians possess advanced technical knowledge and skills needed to assemble, calibrate, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electronic/electric and electro-mechanical machines.
Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technicians use their hands, hand/power tools, complex testing equipment, and analytical thinking to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
Common employment sectors include: manufacturing, aviation, telecommunications, transportation, pharmaceutical, cinema and entertainment, finance, military, law enforcement, and industrial machinery, to name just a few examples of potential fields of employment.
